We attended a transnational project meeting (TPM) in Lublin, Poland for our ERASMUS+ Transversal BIM project. The meeting was hosted by our partner, The University of Economics and Innovation (WSEI).
On hand to welcome us was Vice-Rector, Dr Andrzej Cwynar, who stated that he was pleased to participate in such a ground-breaking project with esteemed partners.
WSEI looked after our wellbeing with delicious food, local delicacies from the area and plenty of beverages to keep us hydrated.
Delegates were shown around the state-of-the-art campus and also visited the Science and Technology Park.
The key purpose of the meeting was to finalise many of the intellectual outputs of the project, in particular the BIM courses that would be developed. There was a debate about the methodology involved, but a new framework was proposed by Warnborough College (the Output Leader) that merged the BIM Schema with practical course design principles.
As a result, Warnborough College will be developing a microcredential on this for teachers who wish to utilise the BIM Schema in their curriculum planning.
Of course, no transnational meeting is complete with cultural exchanges and delegates were treated to the local sights, food and experiences. We can truly say we love Lublin. Thank you to WSEI for making us all feel so welcome.
