Warnborough College Spring 2017 party

Warnborough College welcomed German interns from our partner institution, Hanse Berufskolleg in Lemgo, Germany last weekend. They will be here for 3 weeks taking on various tasks around Canterbury.

This is the second fruitful year of partnership between Hanse and Warnborough, with funding from the EU ERASMUS program.

In conjunction with the arrival of the Germans, we decided to hold a Spring pot luck party. The Algerian students brought in home-made delights while the Nepalese students brought various delicious salads. The Germans provided an assortment of food, while the College ensured everyone had a good round of korma curry and rice with fried chicken.

Cross cultural communication is a vital part of life today, and these events underline the importance of understanding, tolerance and international friendship. A good time was had by all.
