European participants arrive in Canterbury

Warnborough College (UK) hosted a week-long training course on #AdaptiveExpertise with our partners Catholic Education Flanders, the National Education Institute of Slovenia, Fontys University and University College Leuven-Limburg from May 9 to 13, 2022 in Canterbury.

Over 40 participants took part in the intensive week, which formed a multiplier event for the overall Adaptive Expertise Erasmus+ co-funded project.

European professional teachers liaised with British-based teachers to figure out what adaptive expertise is, and how they can inculcate this within their own classrooms and practice.

The group in Canterbury was very international in nature, fielding participants from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Russia and the UK. Great camaraderie was established amongst all, with various activities such as city walking tours and meals together cementing friendship.

The group went to Evensong at Canterbury Cathedral on the last day, before sitting down to a sumptuous meal at the Cathedral Lodge Refectory.

We had a fantastic time hosting everyone, and hopefully, we can do it again soon.
